I’m Brooke, a registered dietitian and mom of three. Even with all my training, when I became a mom, I was barely eating during the day. Coffee for breakfast. A few bites at the counter for lunch. Then at night… straight to the pantry.
I assumed eating less was the answer, but the advice I was following just didn’t fit my life as a busy mom. I felt frustrated and kept telling myself I needed more willpower, when really, my approach didn’t match this season of life.
When I shifted how I thought about fueling myself day to day, meals felt more satisfying and it became easier to stay consistent long term. Now I teach this same simple approach to busy moms who want to eat well without spending hours in the kitchen or giving up their favorite foods.
